Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Medical - Administrative
Location: Topeka, KS
Schedule: Full time; Monday – Friday, 8a – 5p
Pay: $20/hr

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Staff Accountant will provide financial decision-making information by collecting, analyzing, investigating, and reporting financial data. Duties to include but not limited to:

• Compiles financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions
• Prepares monthly reconciliations and revenue and expense journal entries
• Maintains various financial spreadsheets shared by multiple departments
• Assists with finance projects, financial reporting, and other duties as assigned
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business
• 2 years of experience in accounting
• Proficiency in MS Office and general computer knowledge
• Experience in governmental reimbursement programs preferred
