Staff Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Process Accounts Payable
• Cross train on commissions, content and design payment calculations and processing
• Create internal expense reports for Amex cardholders on a monthly basis.
• Initiate ACH, Wires, NACHA payment files in Chase Connect (US) and JPM Access (Canada)
• Daily cash reconciliation and journal entries (Bank to G/L)
• Prepare and book various journal entries in Sage Intacct for month end close
• Balance sheet account reconciliations and accrual analysis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Strong organization, time management and communications skills
• Ability to work well in a team and with other departments
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in Sage Intacct
• Customer service mindset
• 2-5 years experience in an accounting role
• Able to work in Brookfield, WI office (we are currently working hybrid - 3 days in the office/2 days remotely)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
