Job Summary:

We are looking for someone who wants to join an overachieving team. The Staff Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager and be involved in multiple general ledger and month-end close processes. You will specialize in International monthly reporting, filings, and audits, as well as Fixed Assets and Payroll journal entries. Candidates for this position want to learn about different areas of financial accounting. This position offers exposure to many financial areas of the organization and is a great opportunity to expand your business knowledge.

• Contribute to the International accounting reporting requirements, including monthly reporting, filings, and audits

• Participate in the month-end close process, including preparing monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
• Collaborate with the broader accounting team and assist with general ledger, financial reporting, and miscellaneous accounting tasks as assigned.
• Work with external auditors to provide appropriate documentation and explanations for audit requests.
• Develop and support relationships with business partners.
• Actively identify opportunities for process improvement or operational automation in existing system infrastructure.
• Special Projects: We are a growing company so you will have opportunities to work on special projects

You have:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of US GAAP.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets).
• Works well in a team environment, as well as independently.
• Excellent research & analytical skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and follow through to execute all tasks.

You have an advantage if:

• CPA certification or working towards licensure.
• Familiarity with Netsuite as an ERP.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed below. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Colorado Salary Range: $65,000 - $72,500
