In this role Staff Site Trainer will perform activities that ensure that JJVC Jacksonville Manufacturing Operations competency is maintained appropriate to each employee’s assigned position, and in accordance with the applicable training and competency regulations and standards (Quality Systems and EHSS). Leads in the training programs that support the JJVC organization’s OGSM’s. Serves as a POC in one or more Process Excellence initiatives. Must be able to work independently in planning, organizing, and development of new training curricula in support of business needs. Must be able to deliver training one-on-one or present in a classroom; and interact with all levels of management as well as third party vendors or contractors. Competent in the software programs used in JJVC (for example: Articulate, MS Office, Outlook, etc.) and will be the POC for more than one system related to training (examples are Workflow Coordinator, Training Impact Assessor within GCC, the JJVC eLMS, or the JJVC eDMS).

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures training compliance in Quality Systems and EHSS policies and procedures. Develops training curricula as required.
  • Supports, develops, and delivers training for Process Excellence Programs as required.
  • Monitors and analyzes overall effectiveness of training programs and provides departmental feedback.
  • Participates in Change Control to ensure training and documents are consistent with hardware and software upgrades.
  • Supports and/or leads internal/external training projects.
  • Perform document reviews, revisions, and submissions into QUMAS for new products and processes.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • A Vocational, Certificate, Technical or Associates degree with related manufacturing experience is required; or a High School Diploma with a minimum of 6 years of related manufacturing experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook) is required.
  • WI Coach or TWI Job Instruction Leader certification is preferred.
  • Knowledge in Process Excellence and Standard Work Practices such as TWI or Train the Trainer is preferred.
  • Knowledge in advanced content creation software capable of delivering Computer Based Training (ex. Articulate, PowerPoint, Storyboard, etc.) is preferred.
  • Experience in a medical device manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Experience delivering GMP, SOP and GDP trainings is preferred.
