Staff Software Engineer, NLP

The opportunity

We're looking for someone who

10+ years of professional experience working on machine learning or deep learning
Expert level proficiency of modern NLP algorithms including transformer models, deep representations, generative models, etc.
Proficient with deep learning frameworks such as Tensorflow or Pytorch for implementing and optimizing deep learning algorithms.
Extensive experience with large scale data processing, model training and model serving for NLP solutions.
Strong implementation of algorithms and infrastructures using programming code such as Python, C++, etc.
Comfort working in a Linux command-line environment
Team player with good communication skills (oral and written)
Masters degree in Computer Science, Speech/Language Processing, Machine Learning or related field and/or equivalent professional experience

Additional nice-to-haves

Industry NLP experience with summarization, question answering, search, recommendation, etc.
PhD in Computer Science, Speech/Language Processing or Machine Learning
Experience with MapReduce, Spark, or similar frameworks
Experience with Speech Recognition or Speaker Diarization
5+ years specific experience in NLP

Salary range

Salary Range: $210,000 to $230,000 USD per year.
