Technical Onboarding Engineer at Staffbase in Remote

We are a global $145 mil Series D SaaS organization who is growing exponentially and is looking for a Technical Onboarding Engineer in North America to join our high-caliber Technical Engineering team! As a Technical Onboarding Engineer, you will play a key role in onboarding new customers successfully. Together with the Project Manager and Customer Success team, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth onboarding process when it comes to the technical implementation of our internal comms SaaS application. We are hiring remotely anywhere in North America for this role, with preference of candidates to reside in the states of New York, California, or Texas, or the Canadian cities of Toronto, Vancouver, Kelowna, or Calgary. What You'll Do: Be the technical lead starting from our kick-off call until the app is finally launched Work closely with our customers after-sales department (Technical Support Engineers) to find the best setup for our customer integration needs Oversee and... support technical implementation tasks for new customers Consult customers regarding our APIs, architecture recommendations and implementation approaches Partner with the Customer Success Manager and the Project Manager to provide an excellent technical onboarding process for new customers Play a key role helping our customers as a product expert with a strategic mind and high customer-service orientation Develop partnership and be the expert for customers in case of integration, technical solutions or security questions Your Profile: Excellent communication skills and enjoyment in working with customers directly Ability to understand technical concepts and effectively communicate them to non-technical people Expertise with web development, preferably knowledge with HTML/CSS and at least one programming language like JavaScript, Java, PHP, NodeJS Comfort using the command line, git or application logs to narrow down issues with technical integrations on either side Experience with enterprise software and common concepts/integrations is a plus: SAP, Workday, Single Sign-on, Active Directory, etc. Knowledge about security and compliance topics in a SaaS environment is a plus Experience with Photoshop (or a similar tool), mobile app distribution (Apple and Android) is a plus Benefits We Offer: Paid Time-Off: 24 vacation days/year (prorated), 8 bank holidays, 10 wellness days, 1 volunteer day to support your social projects (you get 1 work day off for this and $50 donated from Staffbase to the cause you're volunteering for) 3 Months Paid Parental Leave Growth Budget: $ 2,200/year (prorated) for professional or personal development (i.e. conferences, workshops, working abroad from one of our offices when safe to do so, etc.) Competitive offering for Healthcare and Ancillary benefits through our Professional Employer Organization WageWorks Commuter Benefits Wellness Perks 401(k) with 4% matching Hybrid Office or Remote working choices Employee Stock Options Program Weekly Lunch and So Much More!
