Stand Together is seeking an Events Manager to work within a robust and fast-paced business unit to drive in-person events from conception to completion, focusing on delivering engaging and thoughtful event experiences that achieve the Talent Capabilities goals. 


Your Responsibilities Include
  • Develop a strategy for high quality, consistent experiences across all of Stand Together’s talent development programs.  
  • Managing the production and project management of all elements of event production to ensure events are high quality, efficient, and amplify our Stand Together brand.  
  • Coordinate critical aspects of the guest experience, such as managing key vendors, assisting with venue searches, and coordinating elements such as recreational activities, gifting, onsite design elements and printed materials, and more.
  • Assist with execution of events onsite to help ensure they run smoothly and exceed discerning guest expectations.
  • Providing clear direction to teammates, vendors, and internal and external stakeholders to ensure that priorities are understood, and deadlines are met.  
  • Identify opportunities for optimization through collaboration across the team.  
  • Developing an understanding of industry best practices and applying strategies to continually improve and streamline our event processes.


Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization
  • 5+years of experience in event planning  
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to quickly adapt to change  
  • Exceptional attention to detail  
  • Professionalism, openness to change and new ideas, and humility  
  • Ability to drive multiple projects to completion in a fast-paced environment   
  • Strong customer focus, and an ability to anticipate customer needs  
  • Ability to work on-site in Arlington, VA (This is not a hybrid role).
