Your best is waiting to be discovered.Day - 08 Hour (United States of America)This is a Stanford Health Care job.A Brief OverviewThe ERDB Team Lead is responsible for leading and managing a team of ERDBs, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of data-driven support for research projects. They provide guidance and mentorship to team members, foster collaboration, and ensure adherence to data management policies and procedures.LocationsStanford Health CareWhat you will do• Team Management:• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of ERDBs, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.• Delegate tasks effectively and provide clear direction and support to team members.• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to support professional development.• Identify and address team challenges and conflicts, promoting a positive and productive work environment.• Project Management:• Oversee and manage assigned data-driven projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and scope.• Develop project plans and timelines, assign tasks to team members, and track progress towards project goals.• Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges, implementing corrective actions as needed.• Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders regularly.• Data Management:• Ensure adherence to data management policies and procedures within the team.• Implement and maintain data quality standards and processes.• Oversee data security and compliance measures.• Identify opportunities for data optimization and process improvement.• Collaboration and Communication:• Collaborate effectively with researchers, clinicians, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and ensure effective data delivery.• Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, to convey data insights and project updates.• Foster open communication within the team and encourage knowledge sharing.• Professional Development:• Stay up-to-date on emerging data management and analysis tools and techniques.• Encourage and support professional development opportunities for team members.• Participate in leadership development programs and training opportunities.• Additional Responsibilities:• Contribute to the development and implementation of data management strategies for the organization.• Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.• Represent the team in meetings and discussions with stakeholders.• Advocate for the effective use of data to support research and innovation.Education Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education and technical experience.• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with significant experience in data management and analysis. Preferred• Master's degree in a relevant field such as data science, biostatistics, computer science, information systems, or a related field. PreferredExperience Qualifications• 5 years of experience as an ERDB, with at least 2 years of experience leading and mentoring other ERDBs.• 5+ years of experience as an ERDB: This experience should demonstrate a strong understanding of data management principles, proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, and the ability to effectively collaborate with researchers and other stakeholders. Preferred• 2+ years of experience leading and mentoring other ERDBs: This experience should showcase the candidate's ability to delegate tasks, provide constructive feedback, and foster a positive and productive team environment. Preferred• Experience managing complex data-driven projects: This experience should demonstrate the candidate's ability to plan, execute, and deliver projects on time and within budget, while effectively managing resources and mitigating risks. Preferred• Experience with data governance and compliance: This experience should demonstrate the candidate's understanding of data security and privacy regulations, as well as their ability to implement and enforce data governance policies. Preferred• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools: This experience should demonstrate the candidate's proficiency in using various tools and techniques for data analysis, interpretation, and visualization, such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and Power BI.
