Policy Analyst-CalFresh Employment & Training

Under the direct supervision of the Staff Services Manager I (SSMI), the Employment & Training (E&T) Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA)/Staff Services Analyst (SSA) is responsible for a variety of complex activities associated with providing administrative and programmatic oversight to CalFresh E&T programs throughout California. The AGPA/SSA will travel to counties throughout California and determine compliance with CalFresh E&T rules and regulations. The AGPA/SSA will be responsible for providing technical assistance to stakeholders, compiling complex statewide program information, and developing and implementing program policy. Desirable qualifications include: knowledge of government structure, experience processing invoices, contracts, and budgets, motivated and self-directed with excellent writing, interpersonal, and organizational skills, customer focused and able to meet deadlines.Up to 20% travel, required.Benefits: The state offers comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, long-term care and disability insurance, as well as paid leave.
