Please indicate on your application all Maryland counties where you are willing to accept employment.Main Purpose of JobThe main purpose of this position will be to ensure the continuity of Support Service business operations and data management collection to better serve our internal and external customers. Join our team as the Program Manager Senior I (Director of Data Management Services) and play a vital role in ensuring the statewide functioning of service delivery. We seek a leader with extensive knowledge in data management, analysis, and reporting, as well as familiarity with the Department of Juvenile Services (DJS), specifically in Community and Residential Services.Some key responsibilities of this position may include, but not be limited to, any of the following:• Overseeing and directing the Data Management Unit within Support Services, establishing and achieving departmental goals• Advising on new technology and data analysis tools to streamline business processes and optimizing organizational efficiency• Managing data analysis and reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of information• Collaborating with internal units on data system development for tracking and measuring outcomes• Conducting program and procedure analyses, providing actionable insights for improvement• Preparing and maintaining management tools, such as procedural manuals, statistical reports, and organization charts• Participating in program planning and development, contributing to forecasts, proposals, and procedures for growth• Serving as the Agency POC for Evident Change, leading the Core Team, and developing new reports to meet departmental needsThis position is eligible to work a hybrid telework schedule.Minimum QualificationsEducation: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.Experience: Ten (10) years of progressive management experience and experience with data management, data analysis, and reporting.Desired Or Preferred QualificationsThe preferred candidate for this position may possess any of the following qualifications:• Progressive management experience• Familiarity with DJS operations and experience leveraging data to improve outcomes• Experience collaborating with various departments within an organization on data systems and technology implementations• Experience in using data to drive decision-making and improve organizational outcomes• Experience in preparing and presenting reports, analyses, and/or recommendations to senior management and stakeholdersLIMITATIONS ON SELECTIONThis recruitment is limited to current employees of the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services (DJS) only.SELECTION PROCESSPlease make sure that you provide sufficient information on your application to show that you meet the qualifications for this recruitment.
