Join us in making a meaningful difference for every Washingtonian!The job opportunity:Within OFM, our Information Technology Services Division (ITSD) is responsible for enterprise applications and systems that support fundamental statewide functions including financial, budget, legislative, forecasting, human resource management, and asset management. We are looking for our next –HRMS Functional Analyst to join our HRMS Applications Team. . You will support the Time/Leave Management and MyPortal (Employee Self Service) modules to include Tax Reporter, 3rd Party Tax Engine (BSI) and Quarterly and Year End Prep and Processing.In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:• Develop and maintain the configuration for one or more modules within the statewide HR and Payroll system (HRMS).• Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution.• Provide tier 3 technical production support to end users.• Provide maintenance and operations support.• Create and maintain system documentation.• Perform quality assurance testing.Your work will directly impact the statewide HR and Payroll community as well as all state employees and Volunteer Fire Fighters that rely on HRMS or MyPortal systems for HR, time, leave and payroll functions.What you will work on:• Develop and maintain configurations for all new enhancements and maintenance requests.• Provide technical review and recommendation on solutions to be implemented understanding the dependencies across multiple applications and modules.• Interpret business and system requirements and translate them into SAP technology solutions, explore alternatives and propose options to meet business requirements.• Perform research and identify the source of the problem and implement a technical solution to resolve application defects.• Coordinate with vendor technical staff on implementing system upgrades and enhancements.• Develop and execute test conditions, scenarios, and scripts for unit testing to validate code and configuration changes prior to production release.• Identify, investigate, analyze, and perform issue resolution for system problems; recommend short-term/long-term solution and applicable workarounds as needed.• Resolve service requests and incidents in a timely manner.• Work directly with business owner and end users in troubleshooting system problems.• Perform regular system maintenance and testing tasks, such as interpreting complex SAP notes to determine impacts.• Develop and maintain system documentation such as functional specifications, technical design documents and data mapping to ensure all changes are accurately and completely documented.• Use selected tools/apps to track work efforts, manage requirements, track bugs, manage releases, track, and manage product backlogs.What we need you to bringJourney Level Qualifications ($81,672 - $109,848)Required:• Five (5) years of recent information technology configuration experience in SAP HCM in the Time Management module, including:• Developing enterprise solutions• Providing end user technical support• Stewarding system change requests• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Programming, or a closely related field may substitute for 2 years of experience. Alternatively, a 2-year IT degree from a trade school in a related field may also be considered equivalent to this experience.• Knowledge of and working background with federal taxes.• Knowledge of and working background with WA, ID, and OR state taxes.Desired Qualifications:• Configuration experience in WA State Human Resource Management System (HRMS).• Configuration experience in MyPortal (Fiori) Apps.• End user experience in WA State Human Resource Management System (HRMS) in Time Management.• Knowledge of WA State Human Resource Management System (HRMS) modules and how they interact to include the payroll process.• Experience in writing and executing test plans.• Experience with Azure DevOps.• Experience with ServiceNow (SNAP).In-Training Level Qualifications ($75,972 - $102,168)Required:• Three (3) years minimum of end user experience in WA State Human Resource Management System (HRMS) preferably in Time, Leave, Payroll and Tax Reporter.• Proficient understanding of HRMS modules and their interactions to include the payroll process.Desired Qualifications:• Knowledge of and working background with federal taxes.• Knowledge of and working background with WA, ID, and OR state taxes.What we offer:At OFM, we foster a culture of integrity, innovation, inclusion, and belonging.
