Senior Software Engineer, Backend

Stellar Development Foundation is seeking an experienced backend software engineer to help build Vibrant, a consumer mobile wallet app focusing on blockchain technology.

Skills

Professional software development experience
Experience designing and deploying production backend services at scale
Strong computer science fundamentals
Written server applications in various languages
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Expertise in software design patterns

Responsibilities

Involved in all aspects of the development process for Vibrant’s backend services
Design software architecture supporting high scale
Collaborate with product, design, and fellow engineers
Contribute to best practices for engineering at SDF
Continuously improve deployment, monitoring, and response processes

Education

BS or higher in Computer Science or related field
