Senior Product Designer

StellarWP is seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Product Designer to join our innovative team in a 100% remote position. This role is pivotal in designing a seamless and intuitive user experience for our new WooCommerce extension which facilitates payments through Stripe and PayPal.

The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a remote work environment, demonstrating the ability to focus and deliver exceptional design solutions without the need for a traditional office setting. As a Senior Product Designer, you will be at the forefront of creating user-centric designs for both web and mobile platforms, focusing on the administrative screens of our plugin and the brand website. Your expertise in UI/UX design, deep understanding of eCommerce operations, and proficiency in Figma will play a crucial role in enhancing the way online stores manage payment gateway settings, subscriptions, and payments.

This is a permanent, full-time, remote position with a salary up to $100K.

Responsibilities:

• Design intuitive and user-friendly UI/UX for the WooCommerce extension, ensuring seamless integration with Stripe and PayPal for payment processing

• Conduct thorough research to understand the needs and behaviors of eCommerce store owners, utilizing this insight to inform design decisions

• Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience

• Utilize Figma to create detailed components, auto-layouts, and interactive prototypes with animations that bring our designs to life

• Ensure consistency in design standards across all product and marketing materials, establishing and maintaining a cohesive brand identity

• Design responsive interfaces for both the web and mobile, catering to a wide range of devices and screen sizes

• Proactively identify and address design challenges, continuously seeking ways to improve the user experience

• Participate in user testing and feedback sessions to refine and iterate on design concepts

Requirements:

• B.A / B.S degree in Design or a related field or equivalent practical experience

• 4+ years of relevant experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your web design and UI/UX design skills.

• Deep understanding of WordPress and WooCommerce, with a keen insight into the needs and challenges of eCommerce store management.

• Knowledge of WordPress best practices, including themes, plugins, and customizations

• Highly proficient in Figma, with extensive experience creating components, auto-layouts, and interactive prototypes.

• Familiarity with visual collaboration tools such as Miro or Mural

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationales to a diverse audience.

• A strong problem-solver with an eye for detail, capable of conceptualizing creative solutions that meet business and user needs.

• Experience designing for web and mobile platforms, focusing on great experiences and impactful design.

• A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
