We’re looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller, who will ensure the integrity of financial information, oversee our audits, and support our growth and profitability goals.

On a regular basis you will
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Continuously increase efficiency of month end close and shorten month-end close cycle
- Evaluate new and existing accounting tools
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.
- Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare and present financial reports for management and stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Coordinate and manage annual audits and tax filings, working closely with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Provide financial insights and guidance to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
- Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering and People teams as the Finance SME on projects as needed
You’re gonna crush it if
- You have proven experience as a Controller or similar role, ideally within a startup environment
- You have strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- You have advanced proficiency in financial management software (e.g., QuickBooks, Netsuite) and MS Excel.
- You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- You have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and manage multiple priorities.
- You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- You are comfortable sorting through data to better understand the company’s financial results.
