ABOUT THE ROLE
About Stepful:
Stepful partners with healthcare institutions to build talent pipelines and career pathways. We are reimagining allied healthcare training with a digital-first environment for student cohorts that prepare job-ready graduates five times faster, at a fraction of the cost. Stepful graduates, primarily from underrepresented communities, go on to work at leading healthcare institutions. Stepful is backed by Y Combinator, Reach Capital and AlleyCorp and recently closed a round led by Oak HC/FT.
What you’ll do:
As the first Chief of Staff to the Founders, you’ll be responsible for driving mission-critical projects. This could include anything from revamping the student support function, leading a company rebranding project, or helping launch a new product. In this role, you can expect to:
Drive the highest-impact, most cross-functional strategic initiatives and outcomes across the company
Dive deep into data and processes to identify critical insights for the business and translate them into action
Own projects and business areas end to end, including revamping processes, identifying new features, and hiring
Partner with leadership as a trusted thought partner across the business
This job is for you if:
You have 5+ years of consulting or business operations experience in a direct-to-consumer startup, preferably at an EdTech or HealthTech startup
You love working with large data sets and identifying ways to improve operational efficiencies
You are willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done successfully
You thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
You’re a strong communicator and enjoy working cross-functionally (we are a startup after all!)
