He advises compensation committees, CEOs, management teams, and corporations in executive compensation and corporate governance matters, particularly as such issues arise in the context of transformative corporate events and sensitive situations.Sterlington's partners come from Big Law and other well-recognized firms. You will work in an ambitious, agile, and high-performing team that is committed to delivering excellent results and associate development. The role suits an individual with Big Law or AmLaw 200 Firm experience who is looking for more hands-on experience while working in a purely remote environment.Responsibilities:• Supporting the partner corporate and M&A group, in particular working on executive compensation projectsQUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES:• JD from an ABA-accredited law school• A law degree and active bar admission are required• Possesses around 5-10 years of experience in Executive compensation at an AmLaw 200 Firm (preferred – but not essential)• Possess attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure• Excellent organizational and time management skills• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written• Self-motivated and able to energize themselves to deliver to deadlines• Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality• Fluency in English language, or evidence of fluency / high business proficiency in EnglishThis position is not currently open to recruiting agency submissions.Sterlington is a full-service law firm that combines legal and commercial excellence with modern ways of practicing.This position is not currently open to recruiting agency submissions.
