YOUR ROLE ST is excited to welcome a Visual Design Intern at our office located in Santa Clara, CA. Responsibilities • Identify opportunities, develop roadmap, and design visuals for projects and programs to increase understanding and improve communication • Bring clear messaging and excellent visual design skills to a range of challenging sales presentations • Partner closely with global Senior Leadership from across all lines of business to drive visualizations of business by developing an understanding of key value drivers for different stakeholders • Communicate effectively with partners at all levels, especially senior executives • Cultivate relationships and support cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Business Product Management, Sales Readiness, Support, Business Operations, and Operations to drive initiatives Your Skills & Experiences • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Visual Design, Visual Communication Design, Graphic Design, or a related major. • Strong portfolio, showcasing a foundation in interaction and visual design, typography, and idea generation. • Proficient in web technologies and design software such as Figma, Sketch, etc. • Natural problem-solver: comfortable with ambiguity; able to both dive in and engage meaningfully in the big picture. • Proactive and passionate about results: independently capable of seeking information, solving problems, corralling resources and delivering results in challenging situations • Leadership: Strong team communication and time management skills. • Initiative and ownership: ability to act with limited oversight on day-to-day basis, balancing multiple priorities. • High-energy, team-first attitude: motivated to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment to help our growing business. • Effective communications: excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations. • Executive presence: experience working closely with senior executives to visualize challenging business problems. • Ability to credibly and compellingly present and debate recommendations with senior leadership. At STMicroelectronics, base salary is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The base hourly rate range for this role is between $22 and $33 USD.
