We receive hundreds of applications for each job posting. Rather than using an external hiring team, the head of each department personally reviews all applications. Reviewing hundreds of applicants can take days, and they’re all busy people, so you'll usually only have ~30 seconds to pass our initial screening process. We’re sharing the below to help you stand the best chance of getting through to the next stage:
Have a clear and concise CV: Make your resume easy to scan by organising it well and emphasising key relevant skills and experience. Use bullet points and clear headings to help us quickly appraise it. Less is more here.
Include a link to a personal website: If you provide a link to a personal website or online portfolio, it’s likely to get clicked. They’re usually better places to showcases your work and tell a more focused story about you, too.
Don’t use 100% AI-generated answers: Don't use 100% AI-generated answers: Many applicants copy and paste answers word-for-word directly from ChatGPT. These are easy to spot and typically lead to rejection. While using AI tools is fine, this application should reflect you—answers written in your authentic voice will always make a stronger impression.
Choose to stand out: 99% of applicants do the bare minimum, maximising their chances of getting lost in the shuffle. Any effort to stand out will get you noticed.
We hope these tips help you with your application to Stora and any other roles you pursue.
If an employer mentions a salary or salary range on their job, we display it as an "Employer Estimate". If a job has no salary data, Rise displays an estimate if available.
