Store Operations Supervisor (f/m/d)

Our Operations Department provides operational support to our riders & everyone on shift in the warehouse, and to undertake all scheduled operational duties as required.

The Ops teams focus on the very core of our business which is responsible for our 10 minute deliveries. This role will provide significant operational knowledge and in-depth knowledge to the local teams to ensure successful performance and excelled customer and client experience in the final mile.

As the Store Operations Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

• Manage riders and pick & packers in your warehouse
• Lead & develop a team taking care of the store/warehouse operations while assisting with tasks as necessary
• Assist the Store Operations Manager and make sure that processes are implemented correctly
• Responsible for daily strategic demand planning & inventory accuracy of your warehouse
• Responsible for incoming shipments and waste at the store
• Respond fast and effectively to all customer service issues that arise during the shift
• Be a safety champion for all warehouse and rider associates

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• You have gained first experience in a fast-paced environment
• You see yourself as an entrepreneur and you are eager to take the next steps. Managing one warehouse, managing a whole district, leading entire city operations and steering further expansion
• You are willing to make Gorillas your mission and are ready to work hard to make this business a success
• You have a hands-on mentality and are willing to get your hands dirty
• You have very good communication skills and are proficient in both written and spoken English
