Program Manager, Finance Operations

Strata is a fast-growing software company seeking a strategic Finance Operations Program Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and scalability across the Finance organization. This role involves partnering with Finance, IT, Sales, and other departments to optimize financial processes in support of business growth.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of finance operations and business process improvement in software/technology companies.
  • Proficiency with ERP and CRM systems like NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce.
  • Experience with procurement tools and process improvement methodologies.
  • Skilled in project management tools such as Smartsheet and MS Project.
  • Familiarity with collaboration platforms including Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Confluence.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new or improved business capabilities to support Finance team growth.
  • Lead cross-functional programs optimizing core finance processes like procure-to-pay and order-to-cash.
  • Implement efficiency improvements via process redesign, automation, or system enhancements.
  • Act as liaison between Finance and other departments ensuring alignment on operational initiatives.
  • Collaborate with CFO, VP of Finance, and Corporate Operations leadership to execute strategic finance initiatives.
  • Define and track key metrics to measure process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support change management, communications, and training for new finance processes or systems.
  • Ensure initiative compliance, controls, and audit readiness.
  • Evaluate and manage tools and technologies supporting scalable finance operations.
