Job Highlights
- Develop and recommend short- and long-term procurement strategies regionally or globally.
- Contract negotiation and contract management.
- Comply with all established departmental objectives with regards to supplier evaluations and cost savings reporting.
- Manage ongoing supplier relationships and risks.
- Realization of benchmark studies and structural analyses.
- Communicate procurement strategies to stakeholders and present a "one voice" message.
- Negotiate resolution of claims, disputes, changes in scope and material price changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business Administration or a comparable degree.
- MBA is preferred.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to understand the typical language found in procurement contracts and sensitivity to the clauses that are important to the buyer.
- Previous experience in negotiating high value contracts.
- Expertise in a broad range of site services (i.e., Analytical Services, Real Estate, Safety & Security, Environmental Services, Site Management & Services, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have excellent business sense and knowledge.
- This is a hybrid role with the expectation that the candidate will be able to be in the office at least three days a week every week.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
