Job Highlights

  • Develop and recommend short- and long-term procurement strategies regionally or globally.
  • Contract negotiation and contract management.
  • Comply with all established departmental objectives with regards to supplier evaluations and cost savings reporting.
  • Manage ongoing supplier relationships and risks.
  • Realization of benchmark studies and structural analyses.
  • Communicate procurement strategies to stakeholders and present a "one voice" message.
  • Negotiate resolution of claims, disputes, changes in scope and material price changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business Administration or a comparable degree.
  • MBA is preferred.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to understand the typical language found in procurement contracts and sensitivity to the clauses that are important to the buyer.
  • Previous experience in negotiating high value contracts.
  • Expertise in a broad range of site services (i.e., Analytical Services, Real Estate, Safety & Security, Environmental Services, Site Management & Services, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have excellent business sense and knowledge.
  • This is a hybrid role with the expectation that the candidate will be able to be in the office at least three days a week every week.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
