Strategic Finance Analyst

This is a unique opportunity to join a cutting-edge, dynamic, and successful company. Our company is growing, and we are expanding our finance organization. Deep Instinct is looking for a Strategic Finance Analyst/Senior Analyst to support the global Finance organization. We’re looking for self-starters with an entrepreneurial mindset, possessing an analytical mind and a strong foundation in finance. This role will be responsible for providing key decision support analysis to senior business unit leaders, and as such the ideal candidate must be a team player with the fantastic collaboration and communication abilities.

This role is targeting candidates for the New York City office. This role will report to the Director of FP&A and will be responsible for forecasting and providing key insights that will drive executive decision-making at the corporate level.

This is a hybrid role and the candidate is expected to occasionally come into the NYC Office


Requirements:

Who You Are:

  • At least 2-4 years of experience in investment banking environment
  • Analytical mind with exceptional attention to detail, ability to work independently
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and highest level of integrity
  • Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier school


Salary Range: $135,000 - $175,000

This salary range represents Deep Instinct’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting, and Deep Instinct may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. The final salary for this position will be determined in Deep Instinct’s sole discretion, consistent with applicable law, and based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the employee’s work experience, skills, and qualifications for the role, as well as the needs of Deep Instinct’s business and other operational considerations.

The range listed is just one component of Deep Instinct’s total rewards package for our employees. Other rewards may include annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position. Responsibilities::

What You'll Do:

FP&A

  • Co-own the model and refining drivers; help synch top down and bottoms up forecasts on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Help manage budgeting and planning processes
  • Drive KPI creation, analysis, benchmarking, and reporting for Executive Management
  • Partner with Sales and Sales Operations to drive forecasting, resourcing, and commission plans & calculations
  • Own budget vs. actual analysis

Strategic Finance

  • Lead key workstreams on strategic initiatives (e.g. new market entry, investment optimization)
  • Liaise with other functional areas to drive actionable insights
  • Provide key decision support analysis to senior business unit leaders
  • Help evaluate technologies that can make the finance and planning process more efficient and automated

IR

  • Work as part of the Finance team on capital raises
  • Support investor questions, calls and reporting
