We have in-depth knowledge of the solution offerings and understanding of customer’s challenges. We take lead on opportunities, support pipeline development and revenue attainment, provide critical insights to our product and engineering teams to shape the roadmap, and enable and empower the broader GTM team.What You’ll DoAs the Solutions Architecture Manager, Stripe Billing, you will spearhead the development of a top-tier Specialized Solutions Architect team. Collaborating closely with the CRO, you will craft and execute a strategic roadmap for the organization, aligning perfectly with company objectives.With extensive Subscription Billing and Revenue Lifecycle Management expertise, you will leverage your successful track record in creating innovative solutions for B2B and B2C enterprises. As a thought leader, you will actively engage with Stripe's customers, guiding them through complex financial infrastructure transitions, driving significant revenue growth, and minimizing subscriber churn.You will foster strong relationships with executive leadership across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering, driving collaboration and ensuring the achievement of revenue and pipeline goals. Bringing in-depth technical and industry knowledge, you will greatly influence the product roadmap, directly addressing customer needs.You will partner closely with Professional Services, Partners, Customer Success and Support teams for smooth user onboarding and support revenue growth strategies. Leveraging your expertise, you will mentor the team on handling intricate, high-value opportunities. You will also lead customer workshops on key opportunities when required.Responsibilities• Cultivate high-performing teams: Foster a culture of excellence by nurturing a positive, growth-oriented environment that empowers individuals to reach their full potential through mentorship and coaching.• Set the vision: Articulate and champion a compelling vision for the Billing solutions architecture team, aligning it with the broader Solutions Architect and company strategy.• Build a strong talent pipeline: Attract, recruit, and retain top talent, building a high-performing and diverse team.• Drive strategic impact: Develop and implement metrics-driven processes to assess team performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement, ensuring agility and responsiveness to the dynamic business landscape.• Lead through complexity: Guide and support the team in navigating intricate evaluations, resolving challenging customer issues, and achieving optimal outcomes.• Spearhead strategic growth: Strategize and execute initiatives to drive and close high-value, complex opportunities, maximizing revenue potential.• Develop strategic partnerships: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and alliances to expand market reach and drive business growth.• Collaborate for success: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, promoting cross-functional collaboration to shape and execute the business strategy, go-to-market plans, and user-centric initiatives that fuel revenue growth• Shape product vision: Collaborate across teams to align stakeholders and drive the strategic product roadmap, ensuring a competitive edge.• Stay ahead of the curve: Continuously monitor industry trends and competitive landscape, translating insights into impactful user engagement strategies.• Cultivate executive relationships: Act as an executive champion, leading Executive Business Councils (EBCs) and forging strong relationships with key decision-makers.• Be the customer advocate: Champion the voice of the customer, influencing the product roadmap to prioritize features that address their critical needs and pain points.• Represent and contribute: Serve as a company ambassador at industry events, conferences, and customer business reviews, sharing insights and contributing to best practices.• Engage and collaborate: Travel approximately 25% of the time to build meaningful relationships with customers and foster internal collaboration.Minimum Requirements• Leadership Experience: 5+ years of demonstrated success leading and scaling high-performing Solutions Architecture or Technical Sales teams within a SaaS environment.• A proven track record of building and fostering a culture of excellence, empowering teams to achieve exceptional results.• Technical Expertise: 10+ years of experience in technical sales or pre-sales roles, such as Solutions Engineer, Architect, or Consultant, with a focus on architecting pre-sales solutions and establishing best practices.• Deep understanding of cloud-based solutions and the customer journey, from prospecting to revenue realization.• Strong technical acumen encompassing APIs, distributed systems, databases, developer tools, and enterprise systems architecture.• Industry Knowledge: 5+ years of experience within subscription and billing domain• A solid understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth and market expansion.• Proven success in building and nurturing strategic partnerships and alliances.• Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage organizational resources effectively.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.• Executive presence and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives and technical leaders.• A passion for customer success and a dedication to championing the voice of the customer.• Bachelor's degree or equivalent• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time to engage with customers and collaborate with internal teams.Hybrid work at StripeThis role is available either in an office or a remote location (typically, 35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office).Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.A remote location, in most cases, is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices. While you would be welcome to come into the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office. Stripe does not cover the cost of relocating to a remote location. We encourage you to apply for roles that match the location where you currently or plan to live.Pay and benefitsThe annual US base salary range for this role is $261,800 - $392,700. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.
