Structural Engineer

M1 Support Services is looking for a Structural Engineer/Fighter Aircraft (A-10, F-16, F-15, F-22, F-35) with the following knowledge and experience:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides technical advice to managers and system/equipment users

• Provides technical assistance in resolution of difficult and unusual maintenance problems and recommends appropriate course of action

• Authors & reviews TO 00-25-107 submissions and responses

• Partners with government Quality Assurance and liaises with AF & other engineering regarding TO-25-107 and Assistance Request submissions / courses of action

• Authors & reviews updates and corrections to technical orders (AFTO Form 22)

• Familiarity with Aircraft Structural Integrity Program and technology

• Reviews drawings, technical orders, and other technical data

• Conducts risk assessment and mitigation recommendation

• Conducts root causes analysis

• Working knowledge in Theory, Maintenance Practices, Modification, and Operations • Proficiency with engineering IT Tools and Databases/Systems

• Familiarity with IETMs

Looking for candidates that have a fighter aircraft technician background.

In addition, the candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in in Structural, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering

• 3 years of directly related experience

• Knowledge of AF Engineering and AFTO Form 22 corrections and recommendations

• Must be proficient in Word and Excel.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
