Senior Content Designer

About the Opportunity:

The Consumer Experience (CX) org at StubHub is responsible for the end-to-end product experience for fans looking to discover, buy, and sell tickets to their favorite live events through our web and mobile platforms. We're in search of a content design leader who can approach design through the lens of language – ensuring clarity, consistency, and user empathy throughout our product, fostering strong connections with our fans worldwide. 


As a Senior Content Designer for Consumer Experience, you will drive impactful content-led initiatives to improve our marketing content across email, push messaging, and in-product experience. As the first content designer in this function, you’llestablish content standards, such as copy guidelines, tone and voice guides, and quality assurance processes. You’ll partner closely with product leads to develop campaignstrategy and rigorously A/B tests hypotheses to increase engagement and conversion.  . 


This is a hybrid work opportunity located in New York, NY or Los Angeles, CA. We have a 3-day in-office and 2-day remote schedule.


What You'll Do:
  • Propose content strategies to increase our content’s reach and impact.  
  • Devise creative copy for email, push, and in-product experience, balancing quality and speed. Continuously iterate your copy to A/B test variations.  
  • Improve content quality through developing copy guidelines andscalable quality assurance processes.  
  • Partner with design and content leads to evolve StubHub’s voice and how we flex that voice in our marketing and productcontent. Develop glossaries for event categories to communicate in a language that resonates with those fans. 
  • Work cross-functionally and collaboratively on content strategy and execution, including developing feature names, descriptions, value props, and launch messaging. 
  • Exercise product thinking and influence team vision, strategy, and product decisions. 
  • Define content opportunities and partner with product, analytics, and engineering to evaluate priority.  


What You've Done:
  • 5+ years of experience of professional experience in content design, content strategy, or UX writing.  
  • A portfolio demonstrating breadthand proven writing experience inconsumer-facing marketing campaigns and product experiences.  
  • Ability to generate innovative content ideas that resonate with target audiences. 
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail.  
  • Customer-centric, empathetic and creative. You always build strategies around customer insights, you have a knack for understanding the wants and needs of others, and you’re great at generating creative new ideas around those customers. 
  • Experience driving metrics including, open rate, CTR, and conversion.

The anticipated gross base annual salary range for this role is $150,000 – $175,000 per year. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub’s total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.
