Job Description:

We are looking for an ambitious, dedicated Marketing Intern who is a self-starter and is interested in supporting our external cancer team as part of the Growth Marketing and Reputation Strategy for the OSUCCC – James.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate and help execute various marketing plans and tactics for a variety of cancer service lines/disease sites
• Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns to provide ROI metrics to internal clients
• Perform market analysis and research on competition from a cancer program standpoint
• Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks, including supporting our events team with compiling and sending out collateral and giveaways for various events
• Assist team members with the creation of content for social media platforms
• Help in the creation and editing of content for specific e-communications
• Help distribute marketing materials
• Work with our event marketing team to help organize and execute various events

Job Requirements:

• College junior or senior working towards a BS in marketing, communications or related field
• In-depth understanding of different marketing techniques
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with various marketing platforms
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
• Ability to translate complex research into common language
