Job Description :
Goal – exposure to a variety of organizational effectiveness department processes with an emphasis on HR-related focus areas such as learning and development, coaching/consulting, II&D, research/analysis, process improvement and assessment.
Qualification – Intern must be currently enrolled in a human resources, I/O psychology, or business degree program through a university or college
Period – university semester, may continue subsequent semesters

- Be extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision
- Possess strong critical thinking and analytical skills

- Possess excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess strong computer skills, including experience creating spreadsheets, databases, forms, presentations, and reports. Should be proficient with the entire Microsoft Office suite
- Be able to identify and define problems, collect and analyze data, identify root cause, and implement optimal solutions
- Demonstrate flexibility and a “can do” attitude towards all customer interactions and assignments and be willing to take on new challenges
- Must be able to respect and maintain strict confidentiality
Description:
The Human Resources Intern will work in the Methodist Health System HR Department assisting the HR Teams with various department activities. These activities include but are not limited to assisting with HR-related projects and programs, completing administrative tasks, and supporting the OE department as needed. The HR Intern will be encouraged to make recommendations for process improvements and may assist in special projects assigned by HR leadership.
