What you will do:

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript to join our dynamic team. The candidate should have a solid understanding of backend development principles and architecture, along with hands-on experience in building scalable and efficient server-side applications.  

As a Backend Developer, you will collaborate with our cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy robust backend solutions that meet our business requirements and contribute to the overall success of our projects.  

Requirements:  

• Proven experience as a Backend Developer with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.  

• Strong understanding of backend development concepts, including RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database management systems (e.g., MySQL/PostgreSQL, MongoDB).  

• Create database schemas that represent and support business processes.  

• Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable code and following software design principles and design patterns.  

• Experience with version control systems such as Git and collaborative tools like JIRA.  

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.  

• Experience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, AWS CodeWhisper, Codium etc. is a plus.  

• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.  

• Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.  

• Candidates should be dynamic and willing to learn new languages and frameworks.  

Experience:  

•  Strong knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript with an ability to write high-performance and maintainable code.  

• In depth knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it.  

• Good understanding of server-side templating languages.  

• Experience with managing and publishing packages using npm (Node Package Manager).  

• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3.  

• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to identify and solve complex technical problems and find creative solutions to difficult challenges.  

• Hands on with modern development tools and technologies such as Git, Docker, and Kubernetes, etc.  

• Knowledge in PHP is an advantage.
