Studio Manager

Elements Massage in the Western Springs is looking for a hands-on, bright, motivated and outgoing individual to join our team as a full time Massage Studio Manager. To succeed in this role you will need to thrive on reaching goals and having a passion for sales, customer service and having a positive impact on the wellness of our clients and employees.

Elements has the highest client satisfaction ratings in the industry and we treat each client visit with the highest level of importance and care. This position reports directly to the district manager.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Guarantee the highest level of client satisfaction every day
• Build lasting relationships with our clients
• Manage a staff of 20 plus employees
• Recruit, train, mentor and develop a staff that strives for excellence each and every day
• Maintain a clean and inviting studio atmosphere for both our clients and employees
• Build strong partnerships with the local business community and charities
• Seek out and participate in various community and marketing events
• Establish and maintain a positive and results driven sales culture
• Ensure that operating policies and procedures are adhered to

Qualified Candidates will have:

• 3 years of management, sales and customer service experience in a membership based retail environment. Experience in the spa, fitness or salon industry is strongly preferred
• Passion for the health and wellness benefits of massage and the ability to communicate that passion to both our clients and employees
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Computer proficiency – ease in learning new software
• Strong attention to detail
• Working knowledge of social media and digital marketing tools
• High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
• Demonstrated ability to think like an owner of the business
• Strong organizational, problem solving and follow-through skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to work a 40+ hours per week including nights and weekends
