As an Experienced Data Infrastructure Engineer, you'll work on designing and building database infrastructure and backend systems to be secure and highly reliable for our customers globally.

5+ years as an infrastructure, database or platform engineer.
Strong expertise in designing and implementing scalable and highly performant database systems (MySQL preferred).
Expertise in integrating best practices for data reliability, fault tolerance, and integrity.
Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS), including RDS and Aurora.
Experience with observability tooling (e.g. Honeycomb, Datadog, ELK) and a compiled language (e.g. Go).
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker) and Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, GitOps) .
Experience designing and building highly reliable systems at scale.
Technical — build new, highly reliable services that our customers can depend on.
Ownership — advocate for projects and solutions that you believe in and ship them to production.
Leadership — level up your teammates by providing mentorship and guidance.
We run our services on AWS with Kubernetes for orchestration.
MySQL, ElasticSearch, and Redis for our data layer.
gRPC and protobufs for internal service communication.
Terraform and GitOps to manage our infrastructure.
Go for backend services.
Node and Typescript for our web services.
Next.js and React/Typescript on the frontend.
Swift for our iOS SDK and Kotlin for the Android SDK.
Expected base salary $175,000 - $225,000. The anticipated base salary range is not inclusive of full benefits including equity, health care insurance, time off, paid parental leave, etc. This base salary is accurate based on information at the time of posting. Actual compensation for hired candidates will be determined using a number of factors including experience, skills, and qualifications.
