We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager for the Manufacturing Industry in Japan. In this pivotal role, you will leverage our innovative approach to hiring. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive growth in the manufacturing industry in Japan.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding Substance's market presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the manufacturing sector.
  • Conduct market research to understand trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in Japan.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on business development strategies and client requirements.
  • Prepare and present proposals, pricing, and contracts to prospective clients.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Proven experience in business development or sales within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Japanese manufacturing sector and market dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both in Japanese and English.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Analytical skills to interpret market data and identify business opportunities.
  • Result-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
