Suicide Prevention Specialist

In this vital role, the Suicide Prevention Specialist will help provide administrative support to our Postvention Taskforce, and help support the work of developing Local Support to Suicide Survivors (LOSS) teams around the state.

Schedule: 8 hours per week

• Is, or agrees to become, certified trainer for one or more best-practice suicide prevention trainings
• Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle

< br / > < br / > Required Experience < br / >

• Masters Degree in Social Work or human service related graduate program
  
• Licensure at the independent level of licensure for the discipline preferred
• Five years of experience working in suicide prevention
• Five years of experience as a trainer in mental health/ suicide prevention preferred
