EARLY CHILDHOOD PRESCHOOL SUMMER CAMP TEACHER/ASSISTANT TEACHER

The Early Childhood Center is now hiring for full-time and part-time teachers in our Preschool program for Summer Camp 2023. This position ends on August 18, 2023. Camp K’Ton Ton (CKT) is a day camp that serves children two years old through five years old. Our focus is on enriching the lives of young children by building friendships, fostering discovery, and having summertime fun! CKT campers will have many opportunities to actively explore many natural outdoor environments and the surrounding SLC community.

What camp looks like?

· 2’s – Visit the garden and small playground, have 2 water days per week and will participate in the Friday activity.

· 3’s - Visit the garden, large playground, kitchen and art den (if we can make it happen), have 2 swim days per week, take weekly hikes and will participate in the Friday activity.

· 4’s and 5’s – Go on weekly field trips, visit the garden, large playground, kitchen and art den (if we can make it happen), have 2 swim days per week, take weekly hikes and will participate in the Friday activity.

What are we looking for?

Jr. Camp Counselors (Ages 16-18)

Pay $13 an hour

Hours

Part Time: 1:30pm-5:30pm or 1pm-6pm

Full Time: 8:00-4:00

Camp Counselor (At least 18 years old)

Pay $15 an hour

Hours

Part Time: 1:30pm-5:30pm or 1pm-6pm

Full Time: 8:00-4:00

• Afternoon shift

Ability to commute/relocate:
