Super Soccer Stars brings the FUNdamentals of soccer education to children ages 1-12 through engaging, curriculum-based classes across Northeast Nashville. As a coach, you'll have the opportunity to be silly, laugh, and teach kids about the beautiful game of soccer. At the end of each day, you’ll go home knowing you made a difference in a child’s life.

We are seeking passionate individuals who love teaching and inspiring young children through play, positive encouragement, and role modeling. This role primarily focuses on working with younger players, helping them develop soccer skills, physical literacy, self-confidence, gross motor skills, and socialization.

We are specifically looking for candidates who have the potential to fast-track into a lead coaching position. If you demonstrate strong leadership, commitment, and coaching ability, you will have the opportunity to advance quickly within our program.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead engaging soccer classes for children ages 2 to 12 years old.
  • Develop and execute lesson plans that align with the Super Soccer Stars curriculum.
  • Ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants.
  • Provide positive feedback and encouragement to foster children's participation and growth.
  • Communicate with parents, providing updates on their child’s progress.
  • Attend monthly training sessions and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain and properly store equipment after each class.
  • Take on additional leadership responsibilities as needed for fast-tracking to a higher coaching role.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with children and a passion for teaching.
  • Strong leadership qualities and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
  • Availability on weekday mornings, afternoons, and potentially some weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead groups of children in a positive and engaging manner.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn.
  • Reliable transportation to and from class locations.
  • Ability to pass a background check and be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Prefer weekday mornings availability.
