District Manager - Multi-Unit Retail Leadership (Phoenix, Arizona)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and professional District Manager with at least 5 years of multi-unit management experience in retail. This position is based in Phoenix, Arizona, and will be responsible for overseeing multiple store locations within a district. You will lead, develop, and coach a team of Store Managers, ensuring alignment with company goals and driving the success of each store under your supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Directly manage and coach 6–8 Store Managers to ensure they meet or exceed company performance standards.
• Lead district-level execution of company strategies, initiatives, and policies to achieve financial and operational objectives.
• Build and maintain strong business partner relationships with Regional Managers, HR, and Corporate personnel.
• Ensure consistent communication and alignment across the district between the Regional Manager and Store Managers.
• Recruit top talent to enhance the skill level and performance of the district.
• Develop leadership talent within your team by providing growth opportunities and fostering a high-performance culture.
• Conduct regular store visits (90%+ of the workweek) to monitor operations, coach teams, and ensure compliance.
• Review district and store performance metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain competitive awareness and contribute to growth strategies within the district, including potential new store openings.
• Manage district-level staffing, promotions, and personnel adjustments to optimize performance.
• Foster positive community relationships and ensure each store upholds the company’s reputation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of management experience in a multi-unit environment, preferably in retail.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities with a focus on team development.
• Valid driver’s license and personal transportation for frequent travel within the district.
• Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and analyzing financial reports.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
• High School Diploma or GED (required).
