Founded in 2020, Supersocial operates a cutting-edge studio and a next-generation agency, developing, producing and publishing world-class games, experiences and brand worlds on Roblox, metaverse, and other emerging platforms. Supersocial was founded by Yonatan Raz-Fridman “Yon" (CEO), Pedro Romi (CFO), Luiza Justus (Head of Creative) and Tatiana Wlasek (Chief Operations Officer), together bringing demonstrable track record in building and scaling consumer tech companies and brands. Our CEO Yon is recognized as a trailblazer and thought leader in the metaverse space both for his work with Supersocial and his podcast Into The Metaverse.

Our special sauce is combining creator talent who grew up on the Roblox platform with creatives and operators with decades of experience building consumer brands and telling stories in creative ways. The Supersocial team combines deep Roblox expertise with AAA experience and creative storytellers who, together, design cutting edge experiences that feels authentic to metaverse communities.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

We are expanding our portfolio of original experiences and brand worlds and are looking for an exceptional Lead Artist to join us in originating, developing, launching and growing new brand experiences on Roblox. Your creative expertise, leadership and eye for design will help deliver deep engagement and enchanting virtual worlds to our community. Previous Roblox experience is a plus, but what matters most is your curiosity to learn new things and passion for creating worlds that users love.

You will partner with the Lead Engineer and lead Designer in translating the vision and concept into a cutting-edge experience. As the lead artist, you will work closely a team of artists, guaranteeing they have clarity of their contribution, priorities and are executing at the highest level translating the artistic vision into captivating assets.

Through a mix of domain leadership and hands-on execution, you will level up the artists’ level of excellence, and keep the team motivated, committed, focused. While acting as the artistic vision holder, you will also have an active contribution to the experience's development, responsible for ideating, sculpting and imprinting your talent from concept to execution.

YOU'LL ENJOY THIS ROLE IF YOU CAN...

Design captivating environments and scenes, and enhance the look and feel of the experience from the user's point of view
Partner with the Producer in scoping the content roadmap and allocating responsibilities among the artists
Partner with the Lead Designer in the development of environmental concepts and contribute to the creation of a Game Design Document
Accurately translate design concepts into 3D Models/Renderings consistent to Supersocial's visual language and the Game Design Document
Be flexible and able to adapt to different artistic styles

QUALIFICATIONS

Must Have

3+ years in in senior 3D environment art roles
Experience building 3D worlds within the games industry
Experience creating your own environments
Strong experience with relevant 3D software (Maya/Max/Blender)
Entrepreneurial mindset: ability to operate in ambiguity and roll up your sleeves
