We are looking for someone who provides technical direction to direct reports and Area personnel in the design, operations and maintenance of measurement, regulating and telecommunications facilities. This includes reviewing and assisting in managing Region Capital and O&M budget. In addition, this position will be responsible for ensuring operational compliance with company procedure and regulatory codes by monitoring field operations. Other oversight may apply as assigned by the Manager of Technical Operations Incumbent performs work in compliance with Company policies/procedures as well as external regulatory bodies, such as Department of Transportation (DOT) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), through adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals. What you will do:

Provide work direction and technical guidance to associated direct reports. Coordinate the maintenance, repair, testing, calibration, installation, and inspection of measurement, regulating, and communication equipment within area of responsibility to ensure compliance with AGA, API, GPA and FCC requirements.

Provide project support and/or management during the installation of instrumentation and equipment in new and modified measurement and/or regulation facilities.

Submit recommendations to manager relative to technical improvements, budgets, and workload resource requirements.

Assist manager in preparation and managing of CAPEX and OPEX budgets for area of responsibility. Ensure asset base is being maintained in accordance with all applicable EPA, DOT, RRC, OSHA regulatory requirements, company operating procedures and contractual requirements.

Provide emergency response support as required during emergency events.

Provide topside support to area storage facilities as interface between Corporate Storage and Field Storage groups.

Provides frequent interaction with Enbridge external customers regarding Measurement and Communications.

Provide strong leadership and organizational skills.
Who you are:
You have:
-
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education/work experience
-
7+ years related gas pipeline or energy industry experience
-
Knowledge of measurement programs
You can:

PC skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel.

Solid written and verbal skills
You are:

Effectively plan, coach, review and give feedback to employees about performance and developmental needs

Working Conditions:

Periodic overnight travel in the range of 30%

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
