Overview:
Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for data collection and analysis of key warehouse processes: Receiving, Put-Away, Picking, Sorting and Shipping. The incumbent ensures a smooth and consistent operation so the parts are able to be located and distributed in an effective and efficient manner to satisfy customer requirements.
Responsibilities:

Plan, conduct and promote team safety meetings within the work place

Create and maintain a positive work environment

Maintain and manage pre-set standards of Goods Distribution and good housekeeping standards

Provide guidance and training for Team Members and Team Leaders to ensure targets and goals are met in order to meet the highest levels of productivity

Maintain appropriate staffing levels to accomplish the RDC warehouse mission

Coach, counsel and discipline warehouse Team Members

Ensure all tools, power equipment and PDA scan guns are accounted for, stored properly and maintained each shift

Monitor and audit shipments and ensure reports accurately reflect parts sorted and shipped

Manage Sort process ensuring parts are sorted, audited, cased out and moved to correct staging areas

Measure Sorting process for accuracy and efficiency

Manage Shipping process to ensure safe and accurate loads

Supervise warehouse Team Members by consistently communicating expectations, performance and any changes to operating procedures

Maintain all warehouse process documents to ensure current and accurate documents are reflected in the process manual

Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, as well as internal and external customers

Support company values and goals to establish a world class organization

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications (The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)
Required Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent, plus 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment and 1 years of experience in a supervisory role
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Strong Time management skills
Strong Leadership ability
Good analytical and technical skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to make good decisions and take decisive action in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Experience in a Distribution Center
Experience with Team building and Lean Manufacturing
Experience with AMOS, SAP, or VAATZ
Knowledge of automotive distribution, JIT (Just-in-Time) and 5S (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain)
Working Conditions:
75% RDC; 25% Off-Site warehouse for vendor direct shipping (non-climate-controlled Warehouse Floor)
10% Domestic/ International Travel
Lifting up to 50lbs.
Operating various warehouse equipment such as forklift, high reach, pallet jack, skid wrapper, and PDA Scanner
Hours: 8am-5pm
