Supply Chain Intern

Position Summary

The Supply Chain Intern will support manufacturing operations consistent with team objectives. Since the Supply Chain Internship will take place during the school year, Parker Hannifin is willing to work flexibly with the work schedule. The Supply Chain Intern will work at Parker Hannifin's Carson, CA facility under the Bioscience & Water Filtration Division.

Responsibilities

  • Interns will be assigned 1-2 major projects that they will progress forward during their time in the role.
  • Projects will align to current business needs and consider particular interests of the intern.
  • The intern will also be assigned additional smaller projects or routine responsibilities in the functional area of concentration for their internship to develop professional work knowledge and abilities.
  • Perform assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities that will include cross-functional experience. Perform daily-weekly routine job responsibilities associated with entry level role within designated functional area of supply chain, in order to develop professional work knowledge.

Qualifications


  • Must be pursuing an undergraduate degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or Business degree.
  • Excellent communication skills (e.g., the development/delivery of presentations to technical and non-technical audiences) and accurate documentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, the ability operate effectively in a team environment, and the ability to interface effectively with related business and manufacturing functions.
  • Pay Range from $18.00 to $24.00 depending on experience.
