Supply Chain Manager I- Purchasing (Hybrid Eligible)

Are you looking to use your supply chain experience and leadership skills in an industry that supports and protects explorers and heroes? We could use your expertise on our team! As a Supply Chain Manager I - Purchasing, you'll lead a team of buyers and define, develop and improve the supply base and ensure it's support to SNC programs. Additionally you will assist with daily issues concerning Suppliers and other internal functional areas; engage in creative problem solving with team members and programs; assist with the implementation of S2P; identify opportunities for strategic contracting methods with our suppliers. The individual selected for this position will also create these agreements with the assistance of the buyers. Additionally, you'll lead supply chain innovation and efficiency throughout the Business Area by partnering with departments to support the company’s vision. You'll ensure meaningful supply chain KPI's (key performance indicators) are set, measured and communicated across the organization to drive visibility on goals, as well as provide leadership to direct reports, including responsibility for your department’s performance.

Responsibilities:
Manage team of about 8 Purchasing Agents
Co-Manage additional more senior Purchasing Agents
Work closely with programs to understand their requirements and ensure their needs are being met
Proactively work with Program Managers and Planning staff to identify requirements and ensure the manpower is available to support
Review Purchase Orders over the buyers Delegation of Authority
Ensure work is level loaded among the team

Must-haves:
Bachelor's degree in a related field of study
Relevant work experience may substitute for required education
Proficient negotiations skills
Candidate must have Supply Chain Management skills.
Candidate must have previous experience leading a team.
Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) compliance is highly desirable
Previous experience as a buyer / purchasing

Preferred:
Experience working in Supply Chain supporting government contracts

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $104,827.91 - $144,138.38

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
