About the Role

Our Materials Management team is growing and we are looking for Material Handlers to support all inbound Materials in various processes within the warehouse. You will support the receiving, physically and systematically, of all incoming material to their respective locations. You will also pull and kit orders for Manufacturing, Depots, and Suppliers. Your responsibilities will also include being the liaison for all ad hoc inventory requests and document all pulls from inventory through various transactions. The goal is to ensure that our inbound material is documented quickly and accurately for upstream users. This position has an anticipated start date of January1, 2023 and an anticipated end date of no later than October 1, 2023. Dates are subject to change based on business need.

About the Work

  • Ensure timely receiving, stocking, picking, and packing of inventory to manufacturing partners.
  • Efficiently pull parts for Fleet Replenishment at the various Depot locations and for client specific team members.
  • Ensuring the production floor is stocked by conveying parts between locations and manufacturing lines using kitting parts lists.
  • Communicate with and support inventory cycle counts within the warehouse
  • Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and correspond with Quality, Material Program Managers and rectify problems such as damages, shortages and nonconformance materials.
  • Ability to manage JIRA Tickets and process them on time daily to meet everyone's requirements.

About You

  • AA or Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, Science, or Business or 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with computer systems (MS Office) preferred. Other systems will train.
  • Inventory control experience (cycle counting, physical inventories) preferred.
  • Ability to lift material up to 50 lbs
  • Extensive walking and repetitive physical motion (squatting, bending, lifting, climbing ladders, etc.) is required.
  • Experience and/or certification in operating material handling equipment preferred but will train.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy are essential.
  • Robust organizational skills to manage and track transaction details.
  • You are a self starter who is comfortable in an ambiguous environment. You thrive where there is a challenge to organize, measure, and execute. You take initiative when something needs to get done and are self-motivated for success. You are widely known for your can-do attitude and for getting results and people look to you to lead.

At Nuro, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. For this position the reasonably expected hourly rate is $36 per hour. Offers are based on an individual's experience, education, location, and skills.

You must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by your hire date to be eligible to start the role. Proof of vaccination will be required by your start date.
