Description:
The Supply Chain Planner and Scheduler provides analytics, support, and inputs to the supply plan in support of the regional footprint. This position covers mission critical duties for mid/long-term supply planning and weekly, daily scheduling. The individual will own project/task management of action items related to Supply Planning within the S&OP Process, and will support KPIs and scorecard metrics.
DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilize ERP, Excel, and other systems/processes to gather and analyze sales data, production performance, and conduct capacity analysis
- Support and/or execute planning responsibilities for their corresponding categories to deliver Service, Cost and Inventory targets
- Support development of executive summary and KPI’s in the S&OP process
- Support development of inventory/supply plans
- Support weekly/daily scheduling process including work order management
- Support root-cause analysis for demand / supply performance gaps
- Conduct analysis and provide recommendations for Supply Chain cost-reduction / continuous improvement.
- Support efforts to manage slow moving and excess inventories and take appropriate corrective actions
- Lead process improvement projects to address process and/or system gaps.
- Establish finished goods inventory targets to achieve service and financial objectives.
- Monitor weekly/monthly production plan attainments to ensure continuous product supply to prevent product interruption to the customer.
- Proactively communicate product availability updates to all levels of the Supply Chain and Customer Service teams including potential inventory or customer service risks.
- Lead the analysis and scenario planning to identify potential gaps and opportunities to improve supply plans, working capital, asset utilization, etc.
- Leads in developing, improving, and implementing job movement, planning process, and balancing manufacturing and labor cost to achieve production efficiency and maximum profitability
- Deliver daily production schedule and communicate concerns to cross-functional partners with material availability, equipment failures, and customer requests
- Ensure timely execution of all Print Flow transactions to facilitate proper production movement through each department
- Analyze work center load and advise production management and planning of staffing or other constraints
- Lead Weekly Production meetings. Provide recommendations to production issues and concerns that may slow the production process to complete the jobs
- Monitor production process, workflow, and schedules to ensure on-time delivery
- Work directly with the Director of Operations to configure a schedule and explore workflow improvements
- Provide quick responses to production issues

Requirements:
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of a year of work experience as a production scheduler or in a similar position in the production industry
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal
- Strong analytical, leadership, and planning skills
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Attention to details
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take independent initiatives when the needed
WORK EXPERIENCES
- Minimum of three years of logistics, supply chain, related work experience, or relevant 4 year degree.
o Bachelor's degree preferred
- ERP Radius experience a plus
- Microsoft Office including Excel, Word
