The Agency Resources team is looking for a detail-oriented individual passionate about client experience! This position will be in the Desjardins Agent Network (DAN). The DAN operates in Ontario, Alberta and New Brunswick. The Agent is an independent business owner who exclusively sells the company’s product and services. They hire their Agent Team Members (ATMs) who help provide the insureds with customer service or purchasing a policy.
As a Support Agent you provide administrative and operational support to the Agent and their team members regarding their licensing to sell products such as Life and General (auto, home) Insurance. Property and Casualty Insurance (auto, home, life) and Mutual Funds. You strive to maximize operational productivity, provide timely updates to stakeholders, and are a team player. You flourish in a busy environment amidst changes, and have a positive attitude.
You will share the administrative, office and other licensing and onboarding tasks within the team to help your unit achieve operational objectives and carry out initiatives. Accountability and the ability to drive results is therefore essential.
General Information on the Position
Main responsibilities
Ensure the DAN Agents and the Agent Team Members (ATM) are licensed by handling applications and renewals
Assist with onboarding the Agent Team Members
Conduct and review background screening of ATM candidates
Ensure system access for approved candidates
Troubleshoot to support Agents and ATMs before escalating.
