What You'll Do:
To make a better world through sport, Wilson is focused on elevating our commitment to sustainability. We are currently seeking a Sustainability Data Analyst that can master data management for Wilson’s sustainability strategy. You will spend your time improving and perfecting data collection, analysis, and integrity across environmental categories such as emissions (Scope 1, 2, and 3) energy, waste, water, and life cycle assessments. You will work closely with the Sustainability Director to support environmental reporting for internal and external stakeholders. The Data Analyst will bring insights and ideas to the table while developing data collection and reporting methods in line with industry best practices.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Identify appropriate methodologies for and evaluating sustainability metrics related to Wilson's sustainability goals and reporting initiatives.
  • Collection, analysis, verification and reporting of environmental data required for different sustainability reports and assessments following GRI standards – annual Wilson Impact Report, internal reporting, responding to third-party requests (i.e. CDP), and Life Cycle Assessments.
  • Work with stakeholders across the company to identify, track, manage, and report on our Scope 1,2, and 3 emissions data.
  • Manage the development of processes, tools, and infrastructure required to manage and track all sustainability data.
  • Conduct environmental footprint analysis, working with internal and external partners to calculate our overall carbon footprint.
What We're Looking For :
This role requires a bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related field such as Data Science, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or Sustainable Business Leadership plus 1-3 years of experience in an analytics role in a relevant field pertaining to energy efficiency, renewables, water, or waste management.

Other qualifications include:
  • A passion for people, planet, and product
  • Experience managing and reporting sustainability data
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a matrixed organization with a fast-paced and changing culture
  • Knowledge of current climate, conservation, sustainability, and CSR issues and topics
  • Experienced with calculating carbon emissions, familiar with the Higg suite of tools, and can demonstrate an ability to build effective data visualizations
  • Previous experience with GHG accounting (GHG Protocol) or have carbon accounting certification and a strong understanding of greenhouse gas metrics and reporting standards
  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to build data dashboards
  • Ability to find trends in the data, articulate the “so what,” and translate insights into strategic, practical recommendations
  • Must be an independent, strategic, and creative problem solver with a team mentality
