Accountant III, Work from Home

Organization:S3-Sutter Shared Services-ValleyPosition Overview:• This position is available to work from home in California, preferably in the Sacramento area.Performs a variety of specialized and/or complex accounting functions for a line of business/program or set of accounts. Maintains, reconciles, and analyzes general ledger and accounts, and prepares complex transactions and journal entries, requiring a deep understanding of the business or program. Executes the financial close process, and prepares financial statements and complex reports. Prepares schedules for audits and tax filings, and researches and resolves accounting discrepancies.
