Organization:SHSO-Administrative PayrollPosition Overview:The Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO) is responsible for the development and successful implementation of a dynamic and responsive supply chain operation and health technology management (eQuip) operation. Under the leadership of the CSCO, the supply chain services team will ensure Sutter Health requirements are maximized to harness optimal quality, price, and service for all system affiliates. This includes system wide purchase contracting (strategic sourcing), bio medical engineering, and records management. The incumbent is responsible for the financial, operational and regulatory performance of system-wide sourcing, procurement, distribution, logistics, supply chain informatics and health technology management. The position provides management direction to regional directors of supply chain services.The incumbent represents the organization on assigned related boards and oversees assigned vendor services. The position may be called upon to represent the organization in any due diligence efforts on sales/acquisitions, along with the sale of existing investment/programs. The incumbent may be assigned special projects and operations to manage.Job Description:Education:• Bachelor's required.• Master's in Business, Finance, Management or Health Care Administration or equivalent education & experience.• Six Sigma Black Belt is desired.Experience required:• Demonstrated experience in progressively responsible positions in health care or in a health plan environment, with a strong financial background.• Demonstrated experience operating within an entity at regional levels.• Demonstrated success in directing and managing health-related businesses to profitability.• A background that includes experience with acute, non-acute, or medical group operations is strongly preferred.Knowledge:• Familiarity with assigned businesses in both inpatient and outpatient environments.• Familiarity with system design and system integration.• Knowledge of JCAHO and Title 22 regulations related to areas of responsibility.• Demonstrated working knowledge of finance, operational and legal issues involved in system procurement.• Thorough knowledge of financial and management principles is required.• A knowledge of the relationship between support services and operations, between physicians and healthcare facilities, and between health plans and healthcare facilities is required.Skills required:• Excellent interpersonal (written, oral, presentation) skills.• Well-developed problem-identification, analytical, and problem-resolution skills, as well as persuasion and negotiation skills.• Excellent leadership skills.• Be able to influence others without direct lines of authority.The primary office location of this position is within the Sutter Health footprint.Job Shift:DaysSchedule:Full TimeShift Hours:8Days of the Week:Monday - FridayWeekend Requirements:As NeededBenefits:YesUnions:NoPosition Status:ExemptWeekly Hours:40Employee Status:RegularNumber of Openings:1Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer EOE/M/F/Disability/Veterans.Pay Range is $183.89 to $248.80 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
