Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Good working knowledge of Windows operating systems and general systems and applications.
• Ability to work remote and onsite as needed.
• Must be local to the San Diego area.
• Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance.
• Background in troubleshooting technical solutions.
• Desired
  • RHEL/Linux experience is a plus.
  • Scripting experience is a plus.

World Wide Technology has opportunities for a Service Validation and Test (SVT) Analyst-Tester to join our Government Services Public Sector Team supporting an extremely large Navy program. WWT is designing and building Navy Enterprise Network (NEN) laboratories to support program engineering and ensure thorough testing and error-free transition of services to production. The focus is on maintaining an agile environment which can be quickly configured to represent specified environments for testing purposes and restored to the known baseline. Test automation tools and procedures will be key factors for the success of the Labs.

What will you be doing?

Members of the Service Validation and Test team will be responsible for Verification and Validation (V&V) processes relating to functional testing of technologies and solutions supporting the Navy Enterprise Network (NEN). Our SVT Analyst-Tester will work collaboratively with critical stakeholders participating in the creation and development of Test Plans, Test Procedures and Test Reports that incorporates the execution of test events with Government oversight. As an SVT Analyst-Tester, you will adhere to the test lifecycle from start to finish and provide periodic updates on the progress of the projects. You will work in a fast paced, time critical environment supporting the Warfighter and bringing innovative change and value to our Nation's Navy and Marine Corps.

Responsibilities:

• Under direction, applies specialized knowledge in a single discipline to conduct functional tests contributing to the Navy Enterprise Network (NEN).
• Responsible for the execution of the Test Plans, Test Procedures, and creating Test Reports.
• Communicating and collaborating with the team lead and customer throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Conduct dry run tests prior to official test engagements with the Government and document the outcomes.
• Perform the test events with Government oversight.
• Escalate risks and issues to leadership when necessary.
• Stays current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies.
• Follow all processes and procedures and make recommendations for improvement.
