Swing Shift Warehouse Shipping Workers Needed!

Milgard is seeking Warehouse Shipping Workers to join our team in Temecula, CA. The Swing Shift Production Assembler position pays: $20 per hour + $3.00 shift differential per hour for working the swing shift. This is a 2nd Shift opportunity starting at 4pm with possible mandatory overtime as required. If you are looking for career in a fast paced, environment, then this could be the perfect role for you!

The Warehouse Shipping Worker is responsible for a multitude of functions within their specific department. Some key functions include:

Perform departmental activities per standard operating procedures.
Ensure loads are complete per documentation on the correct delivery vehicle in the proper order.
Troubleshoots missing product through the manufacturing process and expedites to ensure on time delivery.
Secure loads in proper fashion to minimize damage and breakage.
Ensure warehouse is stocked according to route and track down product that is missing.
Maintain proper paperwork accounting for all shipments, noting any discrepancies.
Demonstrate Milgard’s Quality Pillars in all business interactions.

Adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment.

Requirements

Working in the warehouse does require prolonged standing, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling - as well as hand dexterity and strength. May be required to frequently lift up to 75 pounds. Work is performed in a warehouse facility with temperatures subject to normal environmental conditions.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in similar environment handling various sizes of finished goods
Glass handling and/or glass knowledge a plus but not required
Read and understand window labels and route codes
Good hand dexterity with the ability to use hand held scanning unit
Mechanical aptitude and ability to read a tape measure
Ability to lift 75 pounds unassisted
