This role is perfect for someone with a balanced mix of UX and UI design expertise, particularly focused on designing for internal teams rather than eCommerce platforms. This role provides exposure to new and exciting challenges, significant skill development opportunities, and a collaborative environment that fosters growth and innovation.Key Responsibilities:• Design and Development: Use design tools and processes, including wireframes, prototypes, personas, and journey maps, to transform digital solutions from concept to completion in collaboration with stakeholders and team members (70% of the role).• Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly meet with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather and understand requirements, translating them into impactful design solutions. Collaborate with the research team as needed.• Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of all design deliverables, taking ownership of the design’s execution from concept through to completion.• Project Management: Participate in design sprints and workshops, manage design work in progress, and maintain communication with the engineering team to ensure designs are implemented accurately before release.• Voice of Customer Advocacy: Represent the voice of the customer while balancing business needs and technical constraints (15% of the role).• Feature Design and Definition: Help define features and collaborate on user research to drive successful project delivery and align with business goals (15% of the role)Required Skills and Experience:• Experience: 5+ years in UX/UI design, with proven experience taking business requirements through the design process to develop innovative solutions.• Tools: Proficient in Figma.• Design Skills: Expertise in creating wireframes, prototypes, personas, journey maps, and other design artifacts. Ability to balance customer needs with business objectives.• Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to present design ideas and collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.Preferred Experience:• Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with equipment monitoring or telematics (e.g., data collected from vehicles, GPS) is a plus.• Specialized Skills: Knowledge of 3D interaction design and experience with Adobe Creative Suite.Portfolio Requirements:• A robust portfolio demonstrating a range of UX/UI design projects, including sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and final outcomes.• Clear examples showing your role and contributions to each project, with visual clarity and a compelling narrative.Why Join Us?Become a part of a cutting-edge design group where you’ll work on innovative projects that push the boundaries of what’s possible.
