Symmetrio is recruiting a Director of Software Marketing position for our customer, a leading multi-national medical technology company. This role will lead marketing strategies for our client’s healthcare software solutions, driving sales and service activities, overseeing P&L performance, and shaping long-term market direction. The Director will ensure strategic alignment across business lines and regions, while managing key industry events and trade shows.
The candidate will lead the development and success of a diverse team, build and execute marketing plans, and strategically align resources. This position requires the candidate to be based in the Eastern Time Zone, anywhere from the East Coast to the Midwest, near a major airport hub
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in healthcare IT marketing, possess an MBA, and demonstrate strong leadership abilities with proven success in managing both direct and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
- Lead marketing strategies for healthcare software solutions to drive sales and enhance service activities.
- Ensure strategic alignment across various business lines and global regions to support overall corporate objectives.
- Organize and oversee key industry events and trade shows to promote healthcare software solutions and strengthen market presence.
- Build, lead, and develop a diverse marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in healthcare, including government agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry leaders to drive market initiatives.
- Bachelor/University Degree – MBA or similar preferred
- 3+ yrs healthcare IT marketing work experience or similar preferred
- 10+ yrs experience in senior commercial roles with strong sales interaction
- Track record in working in complex, multi-functional, multi-cultural and international environments
- Self-starting, entrepreneurial mind-set – not shying away from doing groundwork when needed
- Willing to travel 30% of time.
